It's about time you had a reply to your question. I would suggest that you build a model of either a Kawasaki Ki 61 " Tony " or a Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk from the plans of Steve Griffiths. Both models are of built up construction with wing spans of just under 36" and all up weight of 11 - 14 ozs. With a total wing loading of about 9 1/2 " ozs./ sq. ft. the models will fly in winds from 10mph upwards. You will find photos of both these aircraft in the website plans section. If you are interested send me an e - mail and I will put you in touch with Steve. - alanhulme@pssa.freeserve.co.uk

Apologies for crashing this thread, but same question. Good evening gents, I'm new here, and a returnee to model flying after some 15 years. Got to learn to fly like most other people with throttle on the left as well. I've bought a SAS Cobra and a CF middle phase to get things moving. I fancy a bill kits sabre for next year and I must build the HP Victor I've promised myself for 16 years or more. I've enquired about the Lander branded Hunter model, but the 70 dollar postage is putting me off. Any ideas ?

Hey Rob, I'm not going to try reply to the five year old message, bit yours being recent... First off, I'll forgive you for learning to fly mode 2... Just kidding, whatever is comfortable is what counts! I'm not familiar with the Cobra, bill kits sabre or HP victor, but pretty much anything from the Chris Foss stable would be good if you can already fly some. Is the Hunter a scale model? Can you post a few links? I'm not sure what the question is either. If $70 is putting you off, print a plan and build your own! Can you give us some more details?
