Hi, just crusing the web looking for info on a Dash 8. I seen John Hill's Dash 8 PSS model. Is John able to forward me relevant info on the model, eg airfoil used, flight performance etc I'm looking at starting a similar scale version.
thanks in advance
Steve

Hi Portfox. I have just read your enquiry after rejoining the forum and see you never had a reply to your Dash 8 questions. You will find some details and a sketch of the fuselage construction on this website. Turn up PSS Builders Techniques, go to PSSA mag. issue 4, May '87, "Model under Microscope" DH Canada Dash 8 by John Hill. Also on website go to " History of PSS in UK" articles which I wrote 2 years ago. See Part 2 for more info on the Dash 8. John Hill used an Eppler 205, flat bottomed section for wings, increasing the standard aerofoil section by 10% to give a thicker wing section. He also slightly rounded the leading edge. Hope this is of help if the project is still current. Alan Hulme.
